This blade is certainly better than most other blades I've used, but has two disadvantages. First, the price - especially with the shipment, very expensive. Secondly, in my opinion, not shovel the snow as much as half a round (shaped like a plow) blade company. But the ease of collecting the snow is really amazing. I had a back problem last winter, but still need to go to clear my path and shovel this was the answer. Only other downside is the handle. Comfortable, butbit 'shabby - Mine felt like it went on break at the end of last season.

This blade has come just in time for us to use to make 22 "of snow in our backyard, street and sidewalks. As announced, the graphite blade Releases snow more easily than others I've used. The blade is made of metal and sharp edges and (hopefully strong) can also rip to clear ice or loose concrete. The handle has little or no decline, and all parts of the blade seems well done. My only beef is that it is relatively heavy, so a snow shovel can be very tiring- Throw in particular on the tip of an already large pile.

The blade is not the calories, because it is plastic. It has a metal wear strips on the bottom, so it is best under the ice and snow. The term "graphite" color refers to the blade, as if anyone cares.

I bought this snow shovel as a backup for my Suncast SC3250 18-inch blade. I got this specifically for ergonomic factor. We had a storm here in Cincinnati and there were none left in stores! I am pleased to 6'2 "tall, so I had to dig 'idea' a bit, but not as bad as before, with a straight handle.
